The objective of the Guarantee Fund is to guarantee, under the conditions and to the extent provided for by law, the protection of funds invested by clients (depositors) of banks, clients (investors) of investment institutions, and unit-holders of mandatory pension funds and persons who have taken out mandatory funded pension insurance with insurance companies, and to raise funds to finance the implementation of resolution measures and rights, thereby enhancing the credibility and stability of the financial sector.
